When Did Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, A73 5G, and A53 5G Come Out?
Samsung A53 5G, A73 5G, and A33 5G were launched on the 17th of March 2022 and goes on sale 2 weeks later.
They were promised to get 4 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates. The trio were announced with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 but has been upgraded to One UI 5 based on Android 13 at the time of publishing this.
This means that they have 3 OS upgrades left and will be getting Android 16. They will also be supported for another 4 years up till 2027.
Samsung A33 5G is a 6.4 inches display smartphone with a Super AMOLED panel, 90Hz high refresh rate, and Full HD+ screen resolution. It is powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset which has a Mali-G68 GPU out of the box.
The Galaxy A53 5G on the other hand is a 6.5 inches Super AMOLED display smartphone with a 120Hz high refresh rate, and Full HD+ resolution. It is powered by the same Exynos 1280 chipset powering the A33 5G.
Samsung A73 5G features a 6.7 inches Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz high refresh rate and 1080P screen resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset with Adreno 642L on board.
