Yes, Samsung A23 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which is housed on the power button. This is just one of the security measures supported by the device as it still comes with traditional security measures such as PIN, Password, and Pattern.

No, Samsung A23 does not have Always-on Display (AOD) and that is because it uses a TFT display that doesn’t support the feature. Samsung phones with Always on Display are those that use AMOLED display.
