Top 7 Samsung Phones with SD Card Slot
There are two types of the sd card slot. There is a dedicated slot and there is a hybrid slot.
A hybrid or shared slot means that to use an SD card, you will have to sacrifice a sim slot. So instead of two sim cards and an sd card as the case is with a dedicated slot, you will have to settle for one sim and an sd card.
For years now, Samsung has not announced a flagship with an sd card slot. So, the devices on this list are all mid-range phones.
1.) Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
Samsung A14 5G is equipped with a dedicated SD card or expdandable memory slot. There are 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options as well as 64GB and 128GB internal storage options.
It comes in two variants when it comes to processing power. There is a variant that is powered by Exynos 1330 chipset which has Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and another that is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which uses Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
It is a 6.6 inches PLS LCD display smartphone with 1080 x 2408 pixels screen resolution, 400 PPI pixel density, and 90Hz high refresh rate.
It currently runs on One UI Core 5 based on Android 13 and that is also the version of One UI and Android OS it runs on at the time of its announcement in early January 2023.
2.) Samsung Galaxy A73 5G
Samsung A73 5G comes with a hybrid slot and supports up to 1TB sd card. It has internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB as well as 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
A little more about the A73 5G is that it is a 6.7-inches Super AMOLED Plus display device that boasts of a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz high refresh rate.

Powering the device is an Exynos 1280 Chipset which has Mali-G68 as its GPU. It currently runs on One UI 5 based on Android 13.
The Galaxy A53 5G’s display is 6.5 inches Super AMOLED complemented by 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 800 nits brightness, and 120Hz high refresh rate.
4.) Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G
Like the devices above, Samsung A52s 5G comes with a hybrid slot and has internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB. As for RAM, you can for 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB.
The Galaxy A52s 5G is a mix between A73 5G and A53 5G in the sense that it is powered by the same Snapdragon 778G 5G as the A73 5G and has the same display quality as the A53 5G.
Samsung A52s 5G uses a 6.5-inches Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz high refresh rate, and 800 nits brightness.
At the moment, it runs on One UI 5 based on Android 13. It is eligible for 3 more Android OS updates.
5.) Samsung Galaxy A32
Samsung A32 comes with a dedicated sd card slot. Its internal storage options are 64GB and 128GB. There are 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options to choose from.
The Galaxy A32 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It runs on Android 12 at the moment but it will be getting the Android 13 update soon.
The 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display is complimented with a 90Hz high refresh rate, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, and 800 nits brightness.
6.) Samsung Galaxy A23

Final Thought
Personally, if I am buying a Samsung phone with at least 256GB of internal memory, I don’t need external storage, but then we are all different and it is worth noting that I am neither a gamer nor a YouTuber.
If you do what consumes a lot of storage, you shouldn’t just go for phones that come with an SD card but also ones with a lot of internal storage; say at least 256GB.
