List of Samsung Phones with High Storage (And Top 5)
In this day and age where smartphone manufacturers such as Samsung are removing expandable storage slots from their devices, I think the smart thing to do is to go for variants of their phones with high storage.
Different people define high storage differently. For average smartphone users that does not play games, download movies, shoot videos, or take a lot of pictures with their phones, 64GB or 128GB at most might be enough.
But for those that do all the aforementioned things with their smartphones such as content creators, gamers, and artists. They most likely will look for something higher say 256GB at the very least.
These are the categories of smartphone users this page is for. Because I will be listing out all the Samsung phones that come with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage/memory.
These phones may have lower storage variants other than the ones that appear on this page. I just want to keep the list relevant to the topic.

Top 5 Samsung Phones with High Storage
1.) Samsung Galaxy S23 Series
Unlike the 2022 flagships – the Samsung S22 series that has a base storage of 128GB, the 2023 flagships – Samsung S23 series comes with 256GB UFS 4.0 base storage with the exception of the S23 which has a 128GB storage option that you shouldn’t consider because it is UFS 3.1 and small. UFS 4.0 is 2x faster and 46% more efficient.
Other storage options for the S23 are 256GB and 512GB. The S23 Plus also has 256GB and 512GB internal storage options while the S23 Ultra has internal storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
The S23 and S23 Plus are accompanied by 8GB RAM while the S23 Ultra is accompanied by 8GB and 12GB RAM. They are all powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor.
2.) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
Samsung Z Fold4 has internal storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It does not come with an SD card and frankly with such storage options, I don’t think you will need external memory.
Most people don’t need more than 256GB. But if you are a content creator or an artist, you should go for the 1TB internal storage variant.
Samsung Z Fold4’s 7.6 inches Dynamic AMOLED display can be used as a tablet when unfolded and its 6.2 inches Dynamic AMOLED display can be used as a phone when folded.
Its unfolded display features a 2176 x 1812 pixels resolution while its folded display has a 2316 x 904 pixels resolution. Both displays use a 120Hz high refresh rate.
3.) Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Samsung S22 Ultra internal storage options are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. There is a storage option for everybody but if you are getting a flagship, 256GB should be the least you are paying for.
Alongside up to 1TB internal storage option, Samsung S22 Ultra also packs a big 6.8 inches display which is brought to life by a stunning Dynamic AMOLED panel, sharp 3088 x 1440 pixel screen resolution, and smooth scrolling made possible by 120Hz high refresh rate.
It is also one of the brightest screens on any smartphone with a peak brightness of 1750 nits. Making the device usable even when under direct sunlight.
4.) Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
The Galaxy S21 Ultra was Samsung’s 2021 top flagship phone. While it does not feature the 1TB internal storage option, you still have the option to choose between 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Since most people will be fine with 256GB, it makes sense that the S21 Ultra made this list.
Like the S22 Ultra and Z Fold4 above, the S21 Ultra does not support an SD card or expandable memory. So, it is advisable that you get the highest internal storage option that you can afford starting at 256GB.
It also packs a big 6.8 inches display featuring a 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 120Hz high refresh rate, and up to 1500 nits brightness.
5.) Samsung Galaxy A53 5G
While this is the only mid-range device on this list, I want to let you know that it was difficult picking the A53 5G over the A73 5G and A52s 5G.
However, the A53 5G is cheaper than A73 5G, has a capable processor though not as great as the aforementioned duo but also not lacking, and will be receiving the same number of OS and security updates as the A73 5G.
Samsung A53 5G has a screen size of 6.5 inches balanced out with a 2400 x 1080 resolution which resulted in a 405 PPI pixel density. With a 120Hz high refresh rate and 800 nits brightness, you have a flagship-level display on a mid-range smartphone.
It has internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB. Samsung A53 5G also supports an SD card slot though hybrid (shared).
Final Thought
Look you probably don’t need a Samsung phone with high internal storage. If you are not a content creator, don’t edit videos on a smartphone, don’t play games on phones, don’t take lots of pictures, and are not an artist. You are probably going to be fine with lower internal storage like 128GB.
The good thing is that most of these Samsung phones also have high RAM which to some degree goes hand in hand with internal storage.
