Yes, Samsung A34 5G and A54 5G are both dust and water resistant for up to 1 meter and for up to 30 minutes.
Both devices are equipped with IP67 certifications. This is junior to the IP68 certification on the S23 series which can survive in water that is 1.5 meters deep but still the same 30 minutes.
This does not mean you should leave your A34 5G or A54 5G inside water that is about 1 meter deep and for about 30 minutes.
Even if any of these two phones happen to fall into water, it is a common and encouraged practice to dry it up with a clean dry cloth immediately after you take it out of the water.
With or without drying it up, it will still survive a 1 meter deep and 30 minutes inside water, but it is just a practice that is encouraged.
