What is MagSafe?
Apple introduced MagSafe to its phones with the launch of the iPhone 12 and continues with iPhone 13 and iPhone 14.
All the iPhones that currently support it come with a magnetic ring at their center back to make sure that the charger does not fall off.
There are a lot of people that use cases on their iPhones and to make sure that MagSafe still works even with a case on the device leads to the creation of accessories such as MagSafe silicon and leather case.
Another popular MagSafe accessory is the MagSafe Wallet. It can be used to hold up to 3 wallets at the back of your iPhone and Apple’s wallet even comes with Air Tags which will notify you if the wallet falls out including where it falls out.
There is also a battery pack accessory. Which functions as both a charger and a power bank. The difference is that your device charges faster when it is connected to a power outlet than when it is being used as a power bank.
MagSafe does not come with a wall adapter, so if you didn’t already have one, you will have to get a USB Type-C adapter which you can get for $20 US Dollars from Apple while the MagSafe charger itself costs $39 US Dollars
