Does Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Have the 3.5mm Headphone Jack and FM Radio?

No, Samsung S23 Ultra, S23 Plus, and S23 do not have the 3.5mm headphone jack. And since this is a pre-requisite for FM Radio on most smartphones, the S23 family does not support FM Radio too.

Samsung removed the 3.5mm headphone jack years ago and has even removed it from their upper mid-range phones too. This signifies the direction the company is going – in that, none of their smartphones will come with this feature in the next couple of years.

Samsung S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra without headphone jack

One of the most used cases of the audio jack on smartphones for most people is to connect their earphones and enjoy their privacy and not disturb anyone else while listening to music or watching videos.

The thing is that wireless earbuds are a huge market and Apple proved that to the rest of the competition with the Apple Airpod which was their replacement for wired earphones.

Ever since then, most manufacturers have been getting rid of the headphone jack and presenting a wireless earbuds solution (which is Galaxy Buds for Samsung) to their consumers which in my opinion is a better alternative to numerous wired earphones out there.

It is also another source of revenue for these manufacturers.

In conclusion, Yes, the S23 series do not come with the headphone jack, I am telling you to expect virtually all their future smartphones to not come with it.
